Producing short form videos to give historical context on the world
Contexte is a media that explores deeper connections into the things we can observe in today's world. It gives historical context on why things are the way they are now.
At the begining of 2025, I wanted a new challenge. I had created various forms of content before, but I wanted to talk about things I am interested in, share them with the world and express myself visually. I decided to create short form content in order to reach people and teach them more about our world in an non-overwhelming and accessible way. I created a visual direction, produced the 3 first episodes before posting in order to make sure I had a good grasp of the concept, and just kept going ever since.
Background
Here is a compilation of some compositions I have designed. I love to use maps to tell stories. As the purpose of this account is to give context to events and things we see in today's world, showing maps is the best way to get familiar with the situation.
